The small print
The rules of the garage, written by the mom who now parks on the driveway. Short version: we print it, we check it, and if we got it wrong we fix it.
Pickup & shipping
How it gets to you
- Everything is printed after you order it. Most orders are ready in 1–2 days. Big orders and busy weeks take longer, and we'll tell you if so.
- Pickup is free, from our garage. We email you when your order is ready and sort out the address and a pickup time with you. The address isn't on the website, on purpose.
- Shipping is within the US only. We post it within 2 business days of it being printed, and email you the tracking number. Shipping costs are shown at checkout.
- Once it's handed to the post office, delivery times are up to them. If tracking says delivered and it isn't there, tell us and we'll help chase it.
Returns & fixes
If something's not right
- Arrived broken, misprinted or wrong? Tell us within 14 days with a photo. We'll reprint it or refund you, your choice. You don't need to send the broken one back.
- Changed your mind? Send it back unused within 14 days and we'll refund the price of the item. Return postage is on you, and shipping fees aren't refunded.
- Custom prints are made just for you, so they can't be returned for a change of mind. If we printed it wrong, see the first point.
- About “perfect”: these are 3D printed in plastic, one layer at a time. Fine layer lines, a tiny blemish where a support was, and small colour shifts between spools are normal, not faults. The pictures on the site show what each critter looks like, but yours is its own little critter.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with (or the way you paid in person), usually within 5–10 days of us agreeing to it.
Toy safety
Please read, grown-ups
- Small parts. Not for children under 3. Many critters have small, jointed pieces that could be a choking hazard.
- Printed in PLA plastic. It's not food-safe: don't chew, don't use as a cup or a teether.
- PLA softens in heat. A hot car dashboard in summer will turn a snake into modern art. Keep them out of hot cars and dishwashers.
- Wiggly joints can snap if bent the wrong way or stepped on. Check now and then for sharp broken edges, and bin anything that's cracked.
- Adult supervision recommended for younger kids. You know your kid. We know ours eat crayons.
Privacy
What we keep and why
- What we collect: the grown-up's name and email, what you ordered, how you want to get it, any note you add, and for custom requests the idea, link or photo you send. That's it.
- Why: only to make, deliver and talk to you about your order. We don't sell it, rent it or use it for ads, and we don't send newsletters unless you ask.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe on their secure page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy covers what they do.
- Who else touches it: the services that run the shop for us: our hosting and order database, our order spreadsheet and automation tools, and our email service. They only use it to run the shop.
- Kids: the shop is for grown-ups to order from. Please don't have children enter their own details. If you think a child has sent us their information, tell us and we'll delete it.
- Cookies: no tracking or advertising cookies. Your cart is saved in your own browser so a refresh doesn't empty it.
- Your say: ask us to see, correct or delete what we have about you, and we will. We keep order records for as long as we need them for taxes and bookkeeping.
